We are always looking for people from anywhere on the planet who enjoy writing, translating, researching, and data processing. As a Clickworker you earn money working completely independently on your own schedule from any personal computer with Internet access.

The Term Clickworker
clickworker.com provides digital tasks to registered Internet workers – we call them Clickworkers. Clickworkers are independent service providers who utilize our workplace platform. Just as with other agencies, Clickworkers are required to register prior to starting his or her work. All data collected is treated as confidential and is used only for communications, assessment, and payment.

Distribution of Tasks
Each Clickworker chooses by himself or herself, from the pool of available projects, those tasks that (s)he wants to take on. The tasks available may vary from Clickworker to Clickworker based on qualification assessments, previous work assessments, education, language abilities, and declared interests. You may qualify for different projects.

Depending on your total profile and qualifications you may be offered specific projects or may be excluded from some projects.
Payment is paid for each completed and accepted task. The amount is fixed and published ahead of time.

Bid Ocean is seeking individuals outside the US and Canada who are suitable for Internet Research and Data Entry. This job requires a special kind of person. Training pay is minimal and only those who demonstrate that they have the required skills are given the position of Researcher and the higher pay that comes with it. Requirements:

1. Cognitive Abilities - The position requires someone who is able to learn complex information quickly, scan information and look for specific types of information, understand the data and enter and classify the data with a very high degree of accuracy.

A person who is highly creative or artistic is not suitable for this position. It can actually be painful for a creative person to force themselves to do this kind of work for a full day.

A suitable person is someone who is logical and analytical and who can focus their mind for extended periods of time. This is typically called a 'left-brained' person because it is the left hemisphere of the brain that normally does the logical and analytical work while the right side is the creative and intuitive part of the brain.

2. Integrity - An Internet Researcher must follow procedures and search thoroughly for the required data and enter it correctly. Failure to do so creates serious problems for Bid Ocean and our customers. We must be able to trust our Researchers to always do their best and not skip data or make avoidable errors.

Fines are imposed for deliberate skipping of data and repeated errors. Those who can't be trusted to do a good job are replaced.

Bid Ocean is open and honest with all its staff and requires the same from its staff. We have zero tolerance for dishonesty, manipulation or deceit.

3. Self-Discipline - This position is only for those who are able to focus on work for at least 8 hours per day and get the job done without a lot of supervision.

THE JOB

Web Search Evaluators will review and evaluate internet search results based on specific search terms and provide a rating depending on the relevance of the search result to the search term. The evaluation work is done using an online automated tool.

You will work 4 hours per day (Monday-Friday) and have the flexibility to choose the hours you wish to work each day. This project requires a commitment to work part-time at 20-22 hours per week. Program Description

Based in over 102 locales worldwide throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and North and South America, the Lionbridge Rater Program is an opportunity for all types of people to earn money and assist in achieving the main objective of the program: the continuous improvement and quality of internet search capability. To achieve this, we have a search relevance program management team based at our European solution center in Ballina, Ireland who manage a Global Rater Team of over 4,500 people. The team also manages rater recruitment, pre and post examination support, payments, rater education and training, as well as productivity feedback to ensure successful candidates reach their full potential as a member of the Global Rater Team.

The Rater role involves evaluating results of a web search, for appropriateness to search query input. Participants will be required to provide their opinion of the result displayed based on a set of guidelines we provide. Hours of work are flexible. The recommended hours of work are 10-20 hours per week. Interested candidates must first successfully complete an exam before being accepted into the Rating Program. The exam consists of two sections: Section 1 has 24 theory questions and Section 2 consists of 150 practical questions. More detailed information will be provided in the study material.
Requirements

The skill set for this job is not high-tech, candidates need to be familiar with browsing the internet, be able to read and write fluent English, and have high-speed access to internet. Specifically:

* Reading and writing in English is a mandatory requirement for program participation

* Proof of English competency in some locales will be requested, e.g. English Certificate

* For cultural and historical awareness purposes, you must be resident in the country for 5 consecutive years

* You should be familiar with using both Internet browsers and content, and have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection

* You need to be motivated to apply your knowledge in a way that improves the browsing experience on the Web

* You must be a mature person capable of managing your time to spend 10-20 hours per week in rating various online services and software

* You can be a college student, teacher, retired person, on-line shopper, stay-at-home parent or professional from any field
